TAQ DNA POLYMERASE- Licensed for PCR*
|GENAXIS Biotechnology Taq DNA Polymerase is the recombinant form of the
enzyme from the thermophilic eubacterium Thermus aquaticus BM expressed in E. coli. It is
a highly processive 5´ -> 3´ DNA Polymerase, lacking 3´ -> 5´exonuclease
activity. The high processivity and fidelity of GENAXIS Biotechnology Taq DNA Polymerase
allows amplification of DNA fragments up to 8 kb. GENAXIS Biotechnology Taq DNA Polymerase
is delivered with a 10X reaction buffer tube and a dilution buffer tube.
100mM Tris-HCl pH8.8, 500mM KCl, 1.0% Triton X-100. A tube of 25mM MgCl2 is provided separately.
one unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to incorporate 10nmoles of dNTPs into an acid precipitable form in 30 minutes at 70ˇC.
purified free of endonucleases ; good performance was confirmed by using Lambda DNA as template (amplified fragment 7.5kb) and human placenta DNA as template (amplified fragment 3.0kb).
20mM Tris-HCl pH8.0, 100mM KCl, 0.2mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 55% (v/v) glycerol and stabilizers. If necessary the enzyme may be diluted before use. The diluted enzyme may be stored at Đ20ˇC up to six months.
